Terms of Use
Version of 1 November 2026
This page explains how access to Academy Igor courses and payment work. Academy Igor is a project by the author of the studioigor channel. By placing an order, the buyer agrees to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
What is sold
Academy Igor sells access to online courses on this site. Right now this is the course “Making Games with AI”. The course is made of lessons on the site: texts, tasks, exercises and videos. It is taken on one's own, at one's own pace.
Access opens with a code: one code opens one course. The first world of the course is open without payment, so the course can be tried before buying. The other days open with a paid code.
Access code
- The code is created in the “Buy the course” window before payment. It needs to be saved: there is no email or password, and a lost code cannot be recovered if it is not open on any device.
- A code works on several devices (browsers). How many devices can be used at once and how many times they can be swapped is set in the course settings. The current numbers are shown under “My courses and devices”.
- Progress is shared by all devices of a code.
- The code is personal. It should not be given to other people or posted publicly.
- A paid code has no expiry date. An unpaid code is deleted after 180 days without activity.
Course status
A course on the site has one of two statuses.
- Open. The first world is available without payment, the rest with a paid code. If buying is paused for a while, the course page says so.
- Closed. The course opens only with a code, and new purchases are not accepted. Codes that are already paid and codes from the author keep working.
Payment
- Payment is accepted in USDT on the TRON network (TRC-20), by a transfer to the address shown on the order page. Each code has its own payment address: it is tied to the code and does not change. There is no payment service in between: money is forwarded automatically from the code's address to the author's wallet.
- The order amount is a round sum equal to the course price. Payment in parts is possible: everything that arrives in USDT at the code's address adds up. If less than the price arrives, the order page shows how much to send to the same address.
- Only USDT transfers on the TRON network (TRC-20) count. Another coin, another token, including one named USDT but with a different contract, and transfers on another network do not count.
- TRON network fees and exchange or wallet fees are paid by the buyer. If an exchange or wallet took its fee out of the amount, the difference has to be sent to the same address.
- Access opens once the TRON network confirms the transfer and it passes the check. This usually takes a few minutes.
- The price and discount are the ones in effect when the order is created. The order price holds for the order's time limit (shown on the order page) and for 72 hours after it. If part of the amount has already arrived, the price holds for 7 days from the first transfer. After that, the current course price applies.
Refunds and payment mistakes
The first world is open without payment so it is clear in advance whether the course is a good fit. Payment for access that has been opened is not refunded.
Payment mistakes are looked into on request: paying twice, paying too much, a transfer in another coin or token, or a transfer after which access did not open. The “I have a problem with the payment” button on the order page shows what has arrived at the code's address. If a question remains, it is possible to write to any of the channels under Contacts and give the order number.
Access right after payment
By placing an order, the buyer asks for access to the course to open right after payment. Access counts as provided once the paid code opens the closed days of the course.
Course materials and the student's games
- Course materials, including texts, videos, illustrations, tasks and exercises, are for personal learning. They may not be posted publicly, sold or handed out.
- Prompts and templates from the course may be used in one's own projects.
- Games and everything else the student made during the course belong to the student: they can be shown, published and sold. The rules of the third-party tools used to make a game apply separately.
Restricting access
A code may be disabled if it is clearly being handed out: posted publicly, sold or shared with many people. The author makes this decision by hand. If a code was disabled by mistake, write to any of the channels under Contacts.
The device and swap limit works on its own and does not disable a code: it only keeps extra devices out.
Course and terms updates
- The course may be updated: lessons get added to and rewritten, videos and tasks change. A paid code opens the current version of the course.
- These terms may change too. A new version appears on this page with a new date. An order placed earlier stays under the version the buyer agreed to.
